Are you a person with disability who does not have a driver's licence? Are you ever stuck when applying for certain things because they consider a driver's licence the most important identification tool? Fear no more; Ideas has researched and listed different types of ID that could help you out.

Australia Post Key Pass

Australia Post offers an initiative that makes not having access to a valid driver's licence or passport a lot less frustrating.  The Key Pass Identification can be used across all states and territories in Australia. You can use this card as proof of your age and identity.  The concession price for a new card is $29.95, full price is $39.95 with the price for Northern Territory residents being $25. Applying for this service will help you when services ask for multiple forms of ID, and the best news is that applying for a Key Pass card is quick and easy. Apply for the Australia Post Key Pass by following the below link or find your nearest Australia Post Office:

To apply for the Key Pass, you will need some identification documents such as your birth certificate, proof of age card, Medicare card or government benefit card. The full list of accepted documents is found here. To submit your application, find your nearest post office and bring your completed application and ID with you. Your application will be checked and your photo taken; once your Key Pass is processed, they will mail your official card to you.
